1. What CheatTracer is

CheatTracer runs a search only when you ask it to, using whatever email address, name, or other details you type in. We're not in the business of building standing files on people — each report is put together at the moment you search, from information that's already publicly accessible, and tied to the query you ran rather than to a profile we keep on the person you searched.

2. Information we collect

When you use CheatTracer, we collect what you give us in order to run a search and deliver it back to you: the subject email (and optional name/state) you enter, the separate contact email you use to receive or save your own report, and billing details when you unlock a full report. We also pick up standard technical data — IP address, browser and device information — the way most web services do.

3. How a search actually works

You start every search, and you supply the details that drive it. From there, our system looks across the public sources described on our Sources & Methodology page and hands back whatever matches it finds. That process runs fresh each time — it isn't pulling from a pre-built dossier we've been quietly assembling in the background.

4. Where results come from

Everything a report surfaces is sourced from information that's already publicly reachable online — social and dating platforms, public records, and similar open sources. We don't log into anyone's private accounts, get around a platform's security or login protections, or gather non-public personal data to build a report.

5. Where we draw the line

To be direct about the boundaries: CheatTracer does not build or maintain standing profiles on individuals, does not offer any form of real-time location or device tracking, and does not reach into anyone's private messages or private accounts. If a feature would require any of that, it's not something we build.

6. How we use your information

We use the information you provide to run and deliver your search results, keep the Service running and improving, process payment for reports you unlock, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your search history to third parties.

7. Confidentiality of searches

The person you search is never notified and nothing about your search is made public. Reports are only ever visible to the account that requested them.

8. Data retention

We keep search inputs, account data, and transaction records for as long as needed to run the Service, meet legal obligations, and protect against misuse. If you opt into the ongoing-monitoring subscription for a specific search, we keep that search on file so we can re-check it periodically — that's an opt-in feature you can cancel at any time, and it's the one exception to the rule that we don't keep standing profiles. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by contacting us below.

9. Third-party services

We rely on third-party providers for things like payment processing, hosting and infrastructure, and analytics. Those providers handle data under their own privacy policies, not ours.

10. Your responsibility as a user

CheatTracer is meant for personal, informational use — for example, getting clarity on your own relationship or vetting someone new. It's not built or intended for stalking, harassment, surveillance, or investigative use of any kind, and you agree to use it in line with applicable law and the terms of the platforms our results reference.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit, to protect the information you give us. No method of storage or transmission is ever completely risk-free, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

12. Age requirement

CheatTracer is intended for use by adults 18 and older only.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.

14. Your choices & contact

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, unsubscribe from emails, or ask questions about this policy at any time by contacting privacy@cheattracer.com.
