Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using CheatTracer (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree with any part of them, please don't use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using CheatTracer, you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Permitted use
CheatTracer is intended for personal, informational use only — for example, verifying the identity of someone you are dating or reviewing publicly available information about yourself. You agree not to use the Service to stalk, harass, threaten, or harm any person, or for any unlawful purpose.
CheatTracer is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and reports may not be used, in whole or in part, as a factor in determining eligibility for employment, credit, insurance, housing, or any other purpose covered by the FCRA.
4. Your account
Any information you give us when setting up an account needs to be accurate, complete, and kept up to date — falling short of that can be treated as a breach of these Terms and may lead to your account being suspended or closed. You're responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for whatever happens under your account as a result, so let us know right away if you think someone else has gotten into it or your login has been compromised.
5. Purchases & payment
Full reports are available for a one-time fee, shown to you before purchase, and processed through a third-party payment provider. If you make a purchase, you're confirming that you're authorized to use the payment method provided and that the billing details you give us are accurate — and you authorize us to share what's needed with our payment processor to complete the transaction.
6. Report accuracy
Reports may include public records, self-reported data, and information aggregated from third-party sources. CheatTracer does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information provided and is not responsible for decisions made based on a report.
7. Refunds
We want you to feel good about trying CheatTracer. If you're not satisfied with a purchase, reach out within 3 days of your order and we'll take a genuine look at what happened — if it fits our refund criteria, we'll issue one, and either way you keep access to the report you already unlocked. Outside that window, purchases are generally final except where the law says otherwise.
8. Third-party sites & sources
The Service may reference or link to platforms and sites we don't own or operate — for example, the public sources a report draws from, or accreditation profiles we link to as proof of our own credentials. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, policies, or availability; it's worth reviewing their own terms and privacy practices before you rely on them.
9. Termination
We can suspend or close your account at any time, without advance notice, particularly if we believe these Terms have been violated. You're free to stop using the Service whenever you'd like — there's nothing further you need to do to close things out on your end beyond that.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If any part of these Terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply, and our not enforcing a given provision on one occasion doesn't mean we're giving up the right to enforce it later. These Terms make up the whole agreement between us about the Service and replace any earlier understanding on the subject.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. For a material change, we'll generally try to give at least 30 days' notice before it takes effect; what counts as material is up to our judgment. Continuing to use the Service after a revision takes effect means you accept the updated Terms — if you'd rather not, please stop using the Service.
